Le ou la candidat(e) retenu(e) fera partie d’une équipe spécialisée qui se concentre sur les entreprises du secteur mondial des soins de santé (hors biopharmaceutique). Relevant du directeur général, Actions actives, l’associé(e) est responsable de mener des recherches fondamentales approfondies et ciblées par secteur, principalement sur les idées d’investissement et les titres existants en portefeuille. Le poste est basé à Toronto. Le département Actions actives (« AE ») investit dans des actions publiques à grande capitalisation et des sociétés pré-IPO en Amérique du Nord, en Europe, en Asie et en Amérique latine. La stratégie repose sur une recherche fondamentale approfondie et ascendante afin de créer un portefeuille concentré, neutre au marché, composé de positions longues et courtes à forte conviction. Responsabilités principales : Travailler directement avec les professionnels de l’investissement de l’équipe Soins de santé mondiaux pour évaluer des opportunités d’investissement longues et courtes dans des sociétés publiques et pré-IPO, à travers divers sous-secteurs des soins de santé. Avec supervision, mener des recherches d’investissement en s’appuyant sur une expertise sectorielle et une analyse fondamentale approfondie du secteur mondial des soins de santé. Participer à des réunions avec des équipes de direction, experts sectoriels, et assister à des conférences industrielles et de courtiers; déplacement requis au besoin. Construire et maintenir des modèles financiers d’entreprises et effectuer des analyses de valorisation (DCF, comparables); appliquer des méthodes statistiques pour soutenir les décisions d’investissement. Avec supervision, préparer des analyses d’investissement et recommandations en collaboration avec l’équipe, incluant des aperçus sectoriels, notes d’investissement et analyses de diligence. Rechercher, analyser et surveiller les tendances macroéconomiques sectorielles ainsi que la performance fondamentale des positions en portefeuille. Incorporer progressivement des insights issus de données alternatives pour enrichir la recherche.
