Administer PO, rectal, and IV contrast per physician orders while assessing patients for risk factors. Demonstrate sound judgment in adjusting protocols and applying ionizing radiation safely and effectively. Provide compassionate care—communicating clearly, ensuring comfort, and maintaining patient dignity at all times. Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or completion of accredited CNMT program. ARRT registry eligible technologist must obtain ARRT registry within 6 months of hire date. CT registry must be acquired within 18 months of the date the primary registry was acquired. CNMT graduates must obtain CNMT registry within 6 months of hire date. Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: ARRT certified as a Radiologic Technologist is required or certified by a CNMT program.
