Responsibilities:
The Nurse Supervisor of Dialysis is an expert Nephrology RN who will be responsible for overseeing and supervising patient care staff in the dialysis unit. They will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive high quality care, while managing the day-to-day operations of the dialysis clinic. The supervisor works collaboratively with the Director, Manager, Physicians, Social Workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and treatment. They must possess a broad and deep understanding of the water system as well as the CMS regulations for dialysis and maintain survey readiness in the dialysis unit at all times. On-Call may be required during non-operational hours providing direct patient care to home and hospitalized patients as needed. Home visits are required for Home Dialysis Patients.
