Season’s Inn Halifax, a 38-room motel is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Attendant. There are currently 2 positions available. The primary responsibility is maintaining the cleanliness of all rooms while completing laundry as well.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

• The candidate must be able to lift a maximum of 40 pounds. Long hours are sometimes required. Daily, the requirements include being able to lift to 20 pounds. All cleaning products and tools are provided. Remove all trash and linen from all rooms.

Daily Tasks included (but not limited to):

• Must be able to polish, scrub, dust and disinfect all areas including glass, wood, plastic and vinyl.
• Thoroughly maintain the carpets by vacuuming and reporting any deficiencies such as stains. All vacuums and cleaning tools must be cleaned and well maintained daily.
• To maintain all hotel property by reporting all maintenance needs observed during each shift, both in rooms and all areas of the building.
