Members of our Front Desk Team can look forward to performing the following tasks: Attend to all concerns of the guest proactively and professionally. Ensure the satisfaction of all guests with a consistent positive attitude. Review all guest reservations to ensure accuracy. Review group resumes and follow up accordingly on any actionable items. Ensure rates and account folios are set up and managed correctly. Communicate key information to appropriate departments and colleagues. Ensure special requests by guests are completed in a timely manner. Maintain and balance a cash float during each shift. Provide services to guests including: check in/out, telephone inquiries, luggage, handling and taking reservations. Provide guests with the information they require. Answer questions pertaining to events/activities and provide directions regarding their destination. Our ideal candidate will have: Flexible schedule is essential. Evenings, Weekend, Holiday and overnight are be required. 1-2+ Years’ Experience in Front Office Operations, Housekeeping or Rooms preferred. Knowledge in Opera or other Property Management Systems a strong asset. Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management an asset. Microsoft Office product knowledge required.
