Job Summary:
We are seeking a Food Service Worker to join our team at a busy restaurant in Saanich, B.C. As a Food Service Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and providing excellent customer service to our guests. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain valuable experience in the food industry.
Responsibilities:

Tasks

• Greet customers
• Table order service
• Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
• Take phone orders
• Processing and entering online order
• Prepare beverages accordingly
• Load buspans and trays
• Operate glassware and flatware
• Place dishes in storage area
• Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
• Stock beverage refrigerators
• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not required
- Must possess Food Safe Level 1 certificate and Serve it Right certificate
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills; proficient in Mandarin or Cantonese
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
