Our newest concept on West 4th Avenue opening Spring 2025 is an all-day neighborhood cafe offering a variety of take away items and dine-in service. We feature an innovative coffee program, fresh baked pastries and cookies, breakfast sandwiches, made to order sandwiches and salads, delicious smash burgers and more! Our open kitchen features scratch cooking with everything made in house.

JOB SUMMARY:

Working under the supervision of the chef, the incumbent will play a key role in preparing ingredients and dishes for our guests in a new space in Kitsilano. Our Cooks are passionate about the experience they’re creating for guests through food.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least one year of directly related experience
• Enrollment in or completion of a culinary program
• Food Safe Certification
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, withstand heat, and deal with the pressures of preparing food in a fast-paced environment
• Dedicated team player who naturally builds camaraderie
• Extremely organized; keeping to deadlines and working with precision in a fast-paced environment
• Responsible, motivated, and energetic self-starter
• Excellent English language communication skills

• Measure and prepare ingredients, set up workstations so food can be prepared according to recipes
• Maintain food safety and hygiene
