We have an immediate opening for a diverse role working out of our Bakery Kitchen in West Kelowna. Do you like to drive? Do you love great food? This role could be a great fit for you!
Food Prep and Light Delivery role Part Time with availability for more hours through the summer.
Bliss Bakery & Bistro, winner of best bakery in the Okanagan 9 years running is looking for people who want to be part of a growing business and the unique opportunities that come with that growth.
In our main baking and production facility in West Kelowna, we are seeking applicants for Part Time food prep and light delivery driver positions. This is a weekend role, we are looking for someone with availability to work Saturday and Sunday each week. You will deliver to our retail store in Peachland, and to our catering clients. You will also do light food prep such as cutting squares, cheesecakes, making icings and other tasks. This role is typically about 60% food prep related and 40% delivery related. The successful applicant will have 3+ years of safe driving experience. Our delivery vehicle is a Ford Transit, so it is easy for anyone to drive! This is an early morning role that typically starts at 3:00 or 4:00am. This is a year round position.
Experience working in a restaurant kitchen and doing light food prep is a definite asset, but we will provide all relevant training to ensure you succeed.
This role starts at $18.00 per hour to start with regular advancements. We also offer regular reviews and raises, benefits, food credits and discounts.
