You will hold a diploma or degree in physiotherapy, be registered to practice in the UK, have post graduate experience of working in mental health settings.
Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies
To provide high quality holistic evidence-based care to patients / service users with mental health needs that is responsive, effective and efficient.

To work autonomously, often as the only physiotherapist in a multidisciplinary team, with patients / service users with complex multifactorial needs. You will have professional support from the Physiotherapy Clinical Specialist and AHP Lead.
To promote the specialist role of physiotherapy within your team to include service planning and development, supervision of non-registered therapy staff.
To be pro-active in delivering anticipatory and responsive care, promoting independence, healthy lifestyle, reduction in health inequalities to improve the overall quality of life in the local population.
To offer a comprehensive physiotherapy service to patients / service users, providing a multi-disciplinary and multi-agency approach to maximise patient function, well-being and self-care planning.
