REHABILITATION TECHCNICIAN

Full Job Description
Job Summary- This job, under direct on-premises supervision of a licensed physical or occupational therapist and according to detailed instructions, competency completion, policies and procedures, follows assigned duties and prepares therapy areas and patients for treatments, and transports patients by use of wheelchairs and stretchers. Maintains all equipment and environment to assure that they are clean, operable, and safe. Support with administrative tasks are required such as filling and support with inventory of department equipment. The Rehab Technician follows isolation techniques once trained as outlined in Infection Control policy.
The idea candidate would also be able to remotely support other DOR’s with daily monitoring of schedules, productivity, assisting with obtaining treatment authorizations, assisting with maintaining online job postings, and other computer oriented tasks. This candidate will support with telehealth proctoring once trained by the protocols.

Reporting lines:
The Rehabilitation Technician will report directly to the Director of Rehabilitation or Assistant Director of Rehabilitation.
