POSITION SUMMARY

Kitchen Porter/ Assistant
Part time contract available. Evenings and weekends will be required.
Our Kitchen Assistants make sure that our kitchen equipment and back of house areas are kept spotless, tidy and safe.
This could be the start of your career in hospitality or you could be looking to ease yourself back into employment. There will be opportunities for career progression for the right candidates.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

No experience necessary. You could be looking to ease yourself back into employment. There will be opportunities for progression within the team. The role will appeal to quick learners and fast workers who enjoy working as part of a team. A high level of attention to detail is required in order to maintain our excellent standards of cleanliness.

Pay: Up to £12.25 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 24 per week

• To maintain high standards of cleanliness are achieved in the Kitchen areas, crockery, cutlery and equipment
• To ensure all equipment is stored correctly and allocated to the designated areas
• To dispose of rubbish into designated areas and to preserve standards of cleanliness in these areas.
• To ensure Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation are adhered to; this will involve appropriate training.
• To ensure that you are correctly dressed, adhere to high personal hygiene standards.
• Cleaning all small kitchen equipment that is used throughout the day
