Jark Peterborough is recruiting skilled Cooker Operatives to join a high-performing team at a major fresh food production facility in March. A valid FLT licence is essential for this role. You’ll be responsible for operating cooking equipment, ensuring food safety and quality, and supporting production efficiency.

• Operate cooking machinery and ensure production meets agreed performance targets
• Conduct daily checks and basic maintenance of allocated machinery
• Use forklift to safely move raw materials, ingredients, and finished product
• Follow correct programs and specifications for each product
• Ensure film, labelling, and date coding are accurate and compliant
• Clean machinery to the correct standards before and between product runs
• Carry out quality checks including product weight, seal integrity, metal detection, and print accuracy
• Accurately complete all required paperwork and production records
• Identify and report machine faults or downtime to the Shift Supervisor
• Follow all company procedures including health & safety, food hygiene, and safe working practices
