We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Site Engineer with a Civil Engineering background and a strong track record in the Marine Construction Industry within the UAE. The ideal candidate will oversee site operations, manage construction activities, ensure compliance with design specifications, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality marine infrastructure projects on time and within budget.

• Supervise and manage day-to-day site operations on marine construction projects, including breakwaters, quay walls, jetties, dredging, and reclamation.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Assist in planning and sequencing construction activities to minimize delays and disruptions.
• Resolve technical issues and challenges encountered on-site in a timely and efficient manner.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and site staff.
• Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of site activities, including inspection requests, material submittals, and method statements.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities when required.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution (Master’s degree is a plus).
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in marine construction projects within the UAE.
• Proven experience in executing large-scale marine infrastructure projects such as ports, harbors, dredging, and shoreline protection.
• Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations specific to the marine environment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong command of English (Arabic is an advantage).
• Proficiency in project management and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
