A unique, exciting opportunity to work alongside a young woman with an acquired brain injury, based in Cirencester.
Our client loves to be active and have fun, she enjoys fashion, rock climbing, surfing, hot holidays, art (both making and galleries). She learned to drive a horse and carriage after her injury and drives once a week and grooms her lovely old pony every week too. There is never a dull day!
This will be a very rewarding role for the right applicant.
You will be working on a 1:1 basis with full support from our very experienced team who have long-standing relationships with the client, as well as the client’s fantastic family. Full and in-depth training will be provided. Therefore, it is not essential that you have any previous brain injury experience, but patience, willingness to learn, being flexible, kind and an excellent communicator are all vital for this role. It is essential for you to be a car driver. Ideally, you will be proactive, equally happy to be inside or outside, trying lots of different things. Having an understanding of basic computer skills would be beneficial.
