The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment. Please note this role is required to be on site 5 days a week at our Markham office.     Responsibilities: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all or part of these areas:   * Payroll processing and data verification in ADP Workforce Now for approximately 100 salaried and hourly employees; * Employment and compliance with regulatory concerns and reporting; * Employee orientation, development, and training; * Policy development and documentation; * Employee relations; * Company-wide committee facilitation; * Company employee communication; * Compensation and benefits administration; * Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health; and * Employee services and counseling; * Organizational and space planning; * Recruiting and staffing logistics;    Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Human Resources, Business or equivalent combination of education and experience.
