ABOUT US:

We are a Japanese styled restaurant located in the food court of Market Mall in NW Calgary. We are looking for full-time workers, but also some part-time workers as well. Our menu offers foods such as sushi rolls, bento boxes, ramen and udon soups, stirfrys, bubble tea along with smaller Japanese food items and snacks.
Responsibilities:
-Preparing and assembling sushi rolls, such as wrapping, cutting and also putting the rolls into boxes to put out for display. We highly value the quality of our sushi along with the manner in which we display it.
-Cooking on the grill, mainly for our hot food items such as our bento boxes, stirfrys and and also our ramen and udon soup options.
-Using the deep fryer, for things like tempura shrimp and yam tempura.
-Preparing bubble tea
-Preparing food such as fish and rice for cooking purposes
-restocking items to be used in the restaurant
-Serving and communicating with customers at the cash register
-Maintaining a clean and presentable working environment
Qualifications:
-Previous job experience in food service (preferably some working with cooking hot foods too)
-Being Able to multitask, as we expect to take orders while also preparing food simultaneously
-Having a comprehensible level of English knowledge for taking orders
-Commitment to your shift times (unless emergency reasons)
-Clear communication ahead of time
-Willingness to learn
