Jade and Dagger Tattoo is a creative, community-focused tattoo studio in Calgary. We pride ourselves on professionalism, artistry, and building lasting relationships with our clients. We’re looking for a Receptionist & Studio Assistant who can be the welcoming face of our studio while also supporting our online presence.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As the Receptionist, you will manage front-desk operations, ensure smooth scheduling for artists, and create a positive client experience. You’ll also assist with studio organization and contribute to our social media presence to showcase the artistry and culture of Jade and Dagger.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in reception, retail, customer service, or hospitality.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Social media experience (posting, content creation, or community engagement).
• Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
• Professional, approachable, and client-focused demeanor.
• Interest in tattoo culture or creative industries is a plus.

• Greet clients warmly, answer questions, and provide information about artists, services, and studio policies.
• Manage appointment scheduling, deposits, reschedules, and cancellations through our booking system.
• Handle phone calls, emails, and social media inquiries in a professional, timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and common areas.
• Collect and process payments accurately, issue receipts, and balance daily transactions.
• Support artists with client check-in/check-out and administrative needs.
• Assist in content creation for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms (photos/videos, captions, posting schedules).
• Monitor comments/messages and engage with followers to strengthen our online community.
• Uphold Jade and Dagger’s brand voice and values in all client interactions—both in person and online.
