Hanoi Drip x Ba Le – Rupert is a next-generation Vietnamese café and bánh mì deli where tradition meets creativity. We’re known for our strong Vietnamese coffee, iconic banh mi, and viral drinks. We are looking for a dedicated Shift Leader / Shift Supervisor to support daily operations, inspire team performance, and elevate the customer experience.
⭐ What We’re Looking For:We’re seeking someone who:
Has prior experience in food & beverage or retail (supervisory or team lead preferred).
Thrives in fast-paced environments and remains calm under pressure.
Leads by example, keeps team morale high, and maintains a clean and professional workspace.
Understands the importance of customer service, teamwork, and hospitality.
Takes ownership of the shift, holds staff accountable, and ensures our high standards are met.
✅ QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 1 year experience in food service or café environment (leadership is a strong asset)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
Food Safe Level 1 certified (or willing to get it within 30 days of hire)
Available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

️ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Leadership
Supervise and lead shifts ensuring all procedures, health standards, and policies are followed.
Open and/or close the shop, complete shift checklists, and manage time-sensitive tasks.
Handle in-the-moment problem solving—whether it’s a line-up, machine issue, or customer concern.
Team Management
Delegate roles for baristas, kitchen staff, and cashiers based on volume and strengths.
Support onboarding, ongoing training, and coaching of new and current staff.
Motivate the team and drive performance through clear communication and a hands-on attitude.
Customer Experience
Ensure exceptional customer service is consistently delivered.
Resolve customer complaints or feedback with empathy and professionalism.
Encourage upselling and menu knowledge to help customers discover new favorites.
Quality Control & Store Standards
Maintain café cleanliness and organization making sure systems and processes are followed (front, kitchen, drink bar).
Ensure food and drink presentation meets brand quality and consistency.
Monitor inventory levels, prepare daily waste/ordering reports when assigned.
Admin & Reporting
Report directly to the Store Manager or Owner regarding shift outcomes and team needs.
