REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 8+ years of experience in IT management, infrastructure setup, and cybersecurity.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365 suite, Dynamics 365 Business Central, and cloud storage solutions.
• Proven experience implementing and maintaining Cyber Essentials certification and GDPR compliance.
• Hands-on experience with Metallic Cloud Storage, Backup Solutions, and Defender Plan 2.
• Excellent knowledge of IT security frameworks, threat detection, and incident response.
• Experience in writing IT documentation, SOPs, and technical guidelines.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage IT teams and external vendors.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience setting up AWS Services.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Experience in IT management, IT project management, andnetwork infrastructure management
• Proficiency in information systems security, risk management, and compliance
• Skilled in software and hardware system management and technical support
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and lead a team
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, PMP) are a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Certifications in IT Security (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+), Microsoft 365, or Cloud Computing.
• Experience with global IT setups and enterprise security.
• Familiarity with IT audit processes and compliance frameworks.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Manager. The position is located in the Guildford Area, United Kingdom. The Information Technology Manager will oversee IT operations, cybersecurity, and compliance. This hands-on leadership role requires expertise in corporate IT setup, global infrastructure management, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance (Cyber Essentials, GDPR). You will be responsible for ensuring the security, efficiency, and scalability of GlucoRx’s IT systems while supporting business operations across multiple locations.
