ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Ensure the team has the required tools, resources and capabilities to manage the engineering team in developing infrastructure solutions.
• Lead the team in the implementation and optimisation of common infrastructure and services.
• Ensure high performance and reliability of data centre operations.
• Implement and maintain advanced security protocols.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and SOPs.
• Lead large-scale infrastructure projects from planning to execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends and integrate new technologies.
• Develop and implement robust disaster recovery plans.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
• Ensure identified risks are managed in line with Risk Management Process
• Responsible for the management and optimisation of data centre operations.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Understanding of networks, data & media broadcast technologies & supporting common infrastructure
• Security Principles - understanding of security principles and practices
• Analytical and technical problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues
• Communication skills - collaborate with cross-functional teams, present technical info and provide training or support
• Project management - ability to manage one or multiple projects or project tasks and meet deadlines
• Innovation & CI - ability to drive innovation and continuous improvement
• Relationship management - ability to foster relationships (and network) with external vendors, suppliers, industry peers, etc.Leadership and Management - management proficiency in influencing, analysis, decision making, empathy, communications, and adaptability

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

• Substantial experience in infrastructure engineering or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of infrastructure security and compliance.
• Advanced knowledge of Asset Lifecycle ManagementKnowledge of ITIL best practices

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering,
• Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is
• advantageous. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions
• Architect – Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions ArchitectExpert are advantageous
