Locations: King of Prussia, PA Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Valid Driver’s License Clean driving record of minimum three (3) years Knowledge of healthcare and/or home medical equipment preferred Basic computer/tablet skills and phone etiquette Responds to emergency delivery calls as needed on a rotating on-call (off hours) basis Job Responsibilities, included but not limited to: Calling all patients to notify them of the expected delivery time Loading and unloading vehicles with all required equipment, medications, oxygen and supplies into truck in a timely manner before leaving the office Correctly and effectively delivers HME, medications, oxygen and supplies Set up oxygen tanks, concentrators and other respiratory related equipment’s Picks up HME, oxygen tanks and hazardous waste according to Policies and Procedures Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the building and on the truck Completes all paperwork as directed, i.e. CODs, insurance information, signatures, etc. Organizes work process in an efficient manner Completes and returns appropriate documentation according to Policies and Procedures in a timely manner Vehicle maintained in compliance with all DOT and FDA regulations Be prepared to load vehicles and begin daily deliveries by 10:30am Keep all patient care, financial information employee activities confidential, in accordance with company procedure and HIPAA Regulations Able to work longer than normal hours with little or no notice, as needed Interact with fellow drivers in a professional manner Other warehouse duties assigned, cleaning equipment, inventory stock, etc Physical Demands The physical demands outlined here are indicative of those necessary for an employee to effectively perform the essential functions of this role. While carrying out the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and listen attentively. The role frequently involves walking and reaching with hands and arms. It also necessitates the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as needed.
