The Manager has responsibility for advancing strategic business development opportunities, conducting market and partnership analysis, identifying and assessing funding opportunities, and supporting the development of scalable initiatives that mobilize the expertise of CICan members in response to Canada’s workforce, innovation, reconciliation, productivity, and international engagement priorities.   MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS  Education:  Graduate from a Canadian post-secondary institution or its equivalent  Experience: Minimum 5 years relevant experience in:  * Strategic partnership development, business development, program development, international engagement, or complex stakeholder environments. * Proposal development, partnership building, and strategic initiative development involving multiple stakeholders. * Extensive experience in program planning, management, budget development, and control. International program/project management experience using logic model approaches * Domestic and/or international program development, funding environments, and partnership ecosystems. * Engaging with governments, industry, international organizations, or multilateral partners. * Experience in preparing concept papers, proposal development, narrative and financial reports, where applicable using current GAC, and other development partners’ requirements. * Staff supervision and team leadership. * Experience supporting international missions, export-oriented initiatives, or strategic international engagement activities.
