  • Receptionist - Kadota AccountingPermanent, full-time On-siteAre you the kind of person who lights up a room, remembers everyone's name, and genuinely loves looking after people? If so, we'd love to meet you.Kadota Accounting is a warm, close-knit firm working across three locations. This role is based full-time at our Boronia office, where we're looking for a receptionist to be the heart of the front office, the first smile our clients see and the friendly voice on the end of the phone. This is a people-first role, all day, every day.   • Being the welcoming first point of contact on the phone, by email and at the front desk
  • Looking after new clients as they come on board
  • Booking appointments and keeping the day running smoothly
  • Following up with clients on the little things so nothing gets missed
  • Keeping our front office warm, tidy and welcoming
  • There's real substance behind the smile.You'll be trusted with genuine responsibility: completing our client onboarding and identity-verification (AML/CTF) checks for new clients, setting up and allocating jobs as work comes in, following up with clients for signatures and outstanding accounts, and keeping our systems accurate. It's the kind of role that needs someone organised, switched-on and reliable -someone who follows things through and takes ownership. We use FYI, Xero Practice Manager and Outlook day to day, so being comfortable with systems (and confident to learn ours) matters. A position description is available on request.You'll be perfect for this if you:Are genuinely warm, outgoing and love being around people
  • Are confident, polished and professional on the phone and in person
  • Stay calm, friendly and organised when the day gets busy
  • Are accurate, reliable and IT-savvy, with a real sense of ownership
  • Have some reception, customer service, or office/administration experience
  • Bonus: experience with Xero Practice Manager, or in an accounting or professional practice
