Description

Reporting to the Reactivation Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and controlling marine systems reactivation of all shipboard systems. This role supports the deactivation and reactivation phases, ensuring all shipboard marine systems are fully operational before handing back to the client. More specifically, you will:

  • Ensure all departmental processes are adhered to.
  • Follow all health, safety and environment (HSE) mandates, specifically Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Review and support vessel-specific set to work (STW) documentation ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Support the Reactivation Manager in producing risk analyses, work permits and livening-up notices in line with the department procedures.
  • Work closely with Production and Quality Control (QC) Departments to establish system completion and readiness for start up.
  • Work with the electrical specialist to energize equipment within the system.
  • Systematically verify all the components and equipment within the systems are operational and ready for STW.
  • Work closely with the client to ensure their involvement, agreement, and sign-off on the procedure and STW documentation when completed.
  • Organize and set up any required test configurations, ensuring all necessary equipment is onsite and available as required by the test plans and standards.
  • Undertake a full, hands-on analysis of the vessel’s marine systems to confirm that all shipboard systems are in alignment with supporting documentation. Provide red lines to the client as required.
  • Attend and participate in project meetings as required by the PMO.
  • Support HSE, QC, and production teams to ensure the vessel’s electrical infrastructure is safe and under LOTO where required.
  • Support the Reactivation Manager to sequence reactivation phases based on client’s scope of work and the integrated master schedule.
  • Work effectively with others within the project team environment.
  • Work with the Scheduling and Planning Departments to establish production priorities based on reactivation requirements in the critical path to reduce the risk project delays.
  • Actively participate in the LOTO procedures and assure the status is properly tracked with HSE.
  • Continually promote HSE awareness by leading by example to ensure the safe performance of all employees involved in daily operations.
  • Resolve any HSE issues brought to your attention in a timely manner and notify the HSE team immediately.
  • Perform risk assessments for reactivation activities in collaboration with Production and HSE Departments, as well as with the client.
  • Ensure the security of the project facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure that Davie’s environmental policies are always respected.

QUALIFICATIONS:
