About Your Role We are looking for a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead the Calico Cloud and AI engineering team. You will manage a team of experienced software engineers and AI/ML developers evolving our SaaS platform and also spearheading our move into autonomous AI agents. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Management and cross-functional stakeholders to define roadmaps, manage priorities, and deliver features that delight our customers and help maintain Tigera’s position as a global leader in Kubernetes networking and observability. You will foster a culture of high-performance and innovation and be responsible for building and maintaining a healthy team culture and coach engineers in their career growth. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be expected to engage deeply with technical decisions, participate in architecture discussions, and maintain enough technical fluency to unblock your team and guide system design. This role is hybrid based in Vancouver Salary range: CA$200,000 to CA$210,000 You Have Management Experience: 5+ years of engineering management experience Proven track record of building, growing, and retaining high-performing engineering teams Experience managing SaaS platforms or infrastructure teams in production environments Strong ability to balance technical debt, feature delivery, and operational reliability Demonstrated success partnering with Product Management to translate business needs into engineering plans Technical Experience: Experience building scalable, multi-tenant SaaS on cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure Good understanding of container technologies such as Docker & Kubernetes Experience or sound understanding of applying AI/ML to observability, automated troubleshooting, anomaly detection or security.
