Roles & Responsibilities

A Logistics Coordinator with 3 years of experience is responsible for managing and overseeing the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of goods and materials within a company. They coordinate between suppliers, warehouses, transporters, and customers to ensure timely delivery and optimal inventory levels. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to use IT systems for tracking and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure smooth logistics processes.
  • Manage inventory levels using digital and IT systems to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and warehouse teams to schedule shipments and deliveries.
  • Track shipments and resolve any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to shipping, receiving, and inventory.
  • Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure efficient storage and handling of goods.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and transporters to optimize costs and delivery schedules.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Provide regular reports on logistics performance for management.
