Description This is a full-time, direct placement role at Citadel Roofing and Solar. Citadel Roofing and Solar is a new company; however, the team is made up of industry veterans with more than 30 years of experience, and a stellar reputation of service excellence to homeowners and new construction home builders throughout California. We are looking for a Solar and Battery Service Technician to join our growing Solar Service team. This position is based out of our offices in Santa Clarita (travel to office may be required at least once per week), however, will be working on projects throughout Southern California. The role of the Solar Service Tech is to support the service department in providing excellent customer service and support in a broad range of areas. This position is varied and almost limitless as the service department needs to be able to meet all kinds of needs. Responsibilities: • Replace old solar equipment with new equipment. Must be familiar with Fronius, SMA, Enphase and Solar Edge inverters. Also, Tesla, Enphase and Franklin WH battery systems. • Perform detailed inspections of older systems and collect data such as serial numbers and defects to provide to a third-party claims administrator or leasing companies. • Set up monitoring on new systems to support operations and introduce the service department. • Be available and willing to assist operations and sales to make sure customers have a good experience. • Troubleshoot and repair various issues with PV and battery systems without supervision.
