Financial Accountant Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or local equivalent) Accreditation: Specific Business Accreditation Language: Proficiency in English Experience: Four (4) year experience in Payroll or related fields, specifically in the development and implementation of accounting principles and Payroll procedures Key Activities / Accountabilities Liaise with Payroll outsourcing vendor ensure timely delivery of services in line with payroll cycles and accurate payment to the employees. Participate in regular service/ production call with the Payroll Outsourcing vendor. Accurately process and reconcile payroll data for employees on a timely basis, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. Process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and overtime, accurately reflecting these changes in payroll calculations. Prepare the relevant journal entries and execute the reports related to payroll. Month-end closing activities: Review the payroll journal entries, reconcile payroll, statutory contribution, Compensation tax and C&B accrual versus what recorded in Oracle Financial Cloud system. Act as the key point of contact and support for local, regional, and global Payroll taxation & statutory contribution matters. Respond promptly to payroll-related inquiries from employees, addressing concerns and providing assistance as needed. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk for the organization. Assist in the implementation of new payroll software or systems, providing input on functionality and participating in user testing and training initiatives. Prepare data and document for internal, external and tax audits. Ensure all documentations related to Payroll/ Accounting payroll, including tax withholdings, deductions, and benefits information are stored as per the retention rules.
