Senior, Fire Protection Engineer LAPORTE is looking for a Senior Fire Protection Engineer with ideally 7 to 10 years of experience in the design and implementation of fire protection systems, to join our team in Toronto. The selected candidate will actively contribute to large-scale industrial projects and ensure the quality and compliance of fire protection systems across a variety of manufacturing environments. Responsibilities Perform code analysis and ensure compliance with applicable standards (NFPA, NFC, and local regulations); Design fire protection systems (sprinklers, suppression systems); Prepare technical documents: drawings, specifications, reports, and calculations; Provide technical support during construction: coordination, inspections, and commissioning; Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, electrical, process, building) to integrate fire protection systems into projects; Participate in meetings with clients, contractors, and partners to ensure quality and compliance with requirements; Mentor and guide junior engineers and professionals within project teams.
