This individual will be responsible for all aspects of testing within the product group with the focus in automation to enable greater test coverage and faster delivery. Quality Engineer’s will engage with the Product/Project Team to identify testing requirements, define testing timelines, plan/execute QE activities and report/track defects. Quality Engineer’s will report to Senior QE Manager and this role requires both hands on and leadership experience in QE areas to resolve all issues/ queries that will allow the team (onshore and offshore) to deliver their tasks in a timely manner. Create QE deliverables including but not limit to test plan, test cases and automation support documents. Work with JIRA, Confluence and qTest for test case management, defect management, test reporting and other functions WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Must have: A relevant degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a comparable field of study. 3+ years of QE Testing experience with a focus on Test automation, Hands-on experience in automation script development using Python, Python-Selenium is preferred. Working knowledge of automations tools and frameworks. (Robot Framework, Selenium, Python, Request Library) Basic Knowledge in UNIX commands and open-source terminal emulator applications like PuTTY Knowledge of web services and API testing – PostMan Proficient in Test Management tools like JIRA and qTest. Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
