Ensure you meet the following requirements: Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License required (M2 preferred) Minimum 2 years’ experience and/or endorsed on Boeing 737 and/or 787 and/or Q400, or equivalent type of aircraft is preferred Proven technical aptitude with strong airframe, powerplant, and flight control experience required Legally entitled to work in Canada (must hold a Canadian Passport or Permanent Residency and/or open work permit with PR card in process) Must be able to obtain Radio Licence within 6 months of employment The physical ability to lift 62lbs and be able to sit, kneel and stand for extended periods of time Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions including temperature extremes, confined spaces, working at heights and in a noisy workspace Ability to maintain a positive fit test to wear all safety and protective equipment including (but not limited) to a respirator apparatus Flexibility to work shift work (night shifts, weekends and holidays) including overtime when necessary Must be able to travel for situations where base coverage and/or rescue trips are required Strong computer knowledge and skills using various Maintenance tracking programs and Microsoft Office Applications Successful candidates will be required to meet the following conditions of employment: Obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) issued by Transport Canada Obtain and maintain Airside Vehicle Operators Permits (AVOP).
