Brief job description
In this position, you will design the next generation of software-based mission systems and be responsible for cross-system concepts from requirements gathering to customer integration.
Your tasks
- Derivation and design of the system architecture as well as the translation of customer and contract requirements into technical concepts
- Structuring requirements into epics and user stories
- Responsible technical coordination and effort estimation across team boundaries
- Implementation of technical breakthroughs to validate solution approaches
- Interface to the customer for concept and development issues, also through direct exchange
- Specification, creation and use of system interfaces in mission planning and with third-party systems
- Responsibility for system-wide error analysis and troubleshooting
- Consideration of security and encryption requirements
- Collaboration in an agile, cross-functional development environment
Your profile
- Completed studies in computer science, a natural science discipline, or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in system and software development
- Experience in system architecture and in dealing with complex, software-intensive systems
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
- Excellent communication skills and team orientation
- Experience in the Infrastructure as Code environment, e.g. with Desired State Configuration and PowerShell, is an advantage.
- Knowledge of Linux as well as in the areas of security and encryption is desirable.
- Very good German and English skills

Your tasks
- Designing system architectures and translating customer and contract requirements into technical concepts
- Structuring requirements into epics and user stories
- Coordinating and estimating technical implementation across teams
- Implementing technical spikes to validate solution approaches
- Acting as customer interface for concept and development topics
- Specifying and using system interfaces for mission planning and third-party systems
- Taking responsibility for system-wide error analysis and troubleshooting
- Ensuring compliance with security and encryption requirements
- Working in an agile, cross-functional development environment
Your profile
- Completed degree in computer science, a natural science discipline or comparable qualification
- Several years of experience in system and software development
- Experience in system architecture for complex software systems
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills and team orientation
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code, e.g. Desired State Configuration and PowerShell, is a plus
- Knowledge of Linux as well as security and encryption topics is an advantage
- Fluent German and English language skills
