Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced Financial Systems Governance and Control Section Head to oversee the development, implementation, governance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of financial systems. The role will lead a team of financial systems professionals and work closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure financial systems are reliable, secure, integrated, and aligned with business requirements.

• RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Accounting/Finance with financial systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in financial systems, ERP, finance applications, or financial technology.
• Proven experience in financial systems implementation, development, configuration, integration, and support.
• Strong experience with ERP and financial reporting systems, preferably within a complex organization.
• Good understanding of financial processes, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, automation, system integration, and data governance.
• Experience with system controls, governance, risk assessment, audit, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership and project management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software and reporting tools.
• Experience working with IT teams, system vendors, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders.

• Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of financial systems, including ERP, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and data integration platforms.
• Oversee system support, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and ensure timely resolution with minimal disruption to finance operations.
• Drive system enhancements, automation, process improvements, and integrations to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Work closely with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define priorities, and deliver appropriate system solutions.
• Establish and maintain financial systems governance, controls, security, and compliance in line with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Support system audits, risk assessments, internal controls, and audit findings in coordination with internal and external auditors.
• Manage system upgrades, patches, customizations, and implementations while ensuring business continuity.
• Lead and develop the financial systems team, including resource allocation, performance management, mentoring, and technical guidance.
• Oversee end-user support and training to ensure effective utilization of financial systems.
• Manage relationships with IT teams, technology vendors, consultants, and other external stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate documentation covering system configurations, workflows, integrations, procedures, and controls.
• Develop a strategic roadmap for financial systems aligned with organizational objectives and future technology requirements.
