ROLE OVERVIEW – WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As a Care Support Worker at EMCAS, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care tailored to each individual’s needs – directly in the comfort of their own home.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

• Assisting with personal care (washing, bathing, dressing, toileting, shaving, dental care)
• Supporting with and administering medication as per care plans
• Helping with meal preparation, hydration, and monitoring nutrition intake
• Carrying out safe moving and handling practices
• Light domestic tasks (e.g. washing dishes, changing linen, emptying bins)
• Providing companionship and stimulating conversation
• Promoting client independence and encouraging participation in daily activities
• Recording care tasks using the CareBerry App
• Raising any safeguarding concerns promptly according to EMCAS procedures
• Following company policies and staying within the boundaries of your role
