As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team working on a diverse range of projects while gaining hands-on experience across electrical engineering. You'll have the opportunity to build your technical skills through exposure to High Voltage (HV) systems, Low Voltage (LV) systems, lighting design for the rail and transportation industry and emerging technologies such as Zero Emissions Bus (ZEB) infrastructure. This internship offers the chance to be a part of the team and learn from experienced engineers while contributing to meaningful, real-world infrastructure projects. Opportunity to transition to a part time position post the internship period and continue with a graduate role for the following year after successful completion of the Bachelors degree. How you'll make a difference: Support the delivery of electrical designs across rail and infrastructure projects, including High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) systems and lighting designs. Assist with projects focused on infrastructure and sustainable transport solutions including rail and ZEB. Contribute to electrical calculations, technical documentation and design deliverables under the guidance of experienced engineers. Support lighting and electrical design activities across rail and transport projects. Learn how industry standards, legislation and client requirements are applied throughout the design process. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help solve engineering challenges and deliver innovative solutions.
