Job Description: Building and maintaining vision language model (VLM) based backend search service that utilizes vector databases. Building and maintaining data pipelines for search services using Python, PyTorch, REST, and gRPC. Building our search frontend using Typescript, React, gRPC and Kubernetes. Software development in Python, Pytorch, Rest, Kubernetes, Airflow, and Flyte. Building robust geospatial querying infrastructure using OpenstreetMap, Mapbox, and Postgres. Building data infrastructure using Trino, DBT, SQLMesh, and Apache Iceberg. Developing cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AKeyless, and internal tooling. Productionalize our VLM data pipelines by building robust, fault tolerant and safe AI solutions. Must live within reasonable commuting distance of HQ and appear in office as required.
