LCC Connectivity allows low-cost carriers content to be distributed in Sabre GDS. Our system connects to various low-cost airlines using proprietary XML API, manages messages flow by orchestrating proper systems of API calls and normalizes responses for Sabre internal systems.
Software Engineer I

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

• Plans, designs, develops, and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.
• Software Design: understands standard software modeling techniques used to describe system designs; designs components of larger software systems; utilizes existing system components that can be leveraged by multiple applications; understands capabilities of environment.
• Under direct supervision. Works on new non-complex software solutions or enhancements to existing products in a maintenance capacity
• Works on problems of limited scope. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Builds stable working relationships internally.
• Provide day-to-day help to the teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

‘Must have’ skills:

• 2 years of related experience as Java developer
• Java concurrency and profiling
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Know how to use TDD
• Know how to work with Linux systems (user)
• Continuous Integration (CI)
• Web Services (REST, SOAP)
