They are seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to develop, implement, and integrate core robotic solutions that manipulate and control biology tools designed for humans. This role requires a focus on robustness, performance, simplification, and scalability in a complex, dynamic environment. In This Role, You Will Develop robotic solutions to manipulate and control biology tools designed for humans. Develop and implement motion planning algorithms to avoid collisions in complex and dynamic lab environments. Use computer vision to work with consumables and equipment used by human scientists. Integrate, test, and debug software solutions in simulation and on physical robots. Work directly with partner scientists at customer labs to understand pain points, ideate creative solutions, and guide implementation and deployment. Identify opportunities for simplification and design for scalability. 4+ years of experience designing and building algorithms for robotics systems. Proficient in Python.
