You will be working closely with a talented team to deliver a complex software application into operations. In addition, you'll have the opportunity to grow and hone your skills with other talented members at Millennial Software. Our ideal candidate is a DevSecOps Engineer who is a hard charging self-starter that can come onto a team and begin to produce quickly. You should have a strong understanding of IaC, containerization, automated test, and deployment pipelines to evolve our existing software infrastructure and architecture. Essential Functions: Utilize strong technical foundation with skills such as scripting and working to get tools from production into operation using software engineering skills. Develop innovative solutions and coordinate those solutions between members of the technical and operational staff at a classified government site and end-users in the field. Work closely with customers, operational staff, and development staff to solve problems in an operational environment. Maintain current knowledge of engineering practices and technical solutions. Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies. Take direction from senior technical leadership and/or Project Manager on project specifications. Setup, configure and maintain various EC2 and Containerized environments to support development, test, integration, and operational software threads. Contribute to the design and implementation of comprehensive CICD pipelines with seamless automation Support agile development activities including sprint planning, peer code reviews, and iterative updates based on end-user feedback Help maintain clean, well-documented, and testable code Requirements Required Qualifications: Must be a U.S. Citizen Active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Poly Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline 6+ years of relevant experience (or 4+ years with a Graduate Degree) Experience with automated deployment technologies such as Terraform and Ansible Linux system administration experience (RedHat 8/9).
