Job Description Chamberlain College of Nursing seeks Part-Time Nursing Faculty interested in teaching with our BSN Nursing program. You will be teaching students in the role of facilitator, role model, coach and advisor. Part-time professors lead asynchronous discussions and teach 2 synchronous live lectures each week on Wednesdays; one between 7am-12pm Central Time plus one between 5pm-9:30pm Central Time. Professors will be available via email, online conferencing or telephone, to provide support and respond to student's enquiries in a timely manner. We are presently accepting applications from experienced faculty with experience teaching in the following areas of course specialization: NR222 Health and Wellness: This course introduces students to health promotion and preventive care activities throughout the life span. These activities are explored through biological, psychological, spiritual, environmental, and sexual domains. A variety of theories emphasizing health and well-being will be explored throughout the course. Healthy People objectives are examined. Health-promotion assumptions basic to nursing practice are emphasized. Chamberlain University courses follow an 8-week session plan: there are six 8-week sessions each calendar year (Jan-Feb, Mar-Apr, May-Jun, Jul-Aug, Sep-Oct, & Nov-Dec). Additional Information In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected compensation rate for this position is between $715/Earned Credit Hour to $1,950/Earned Credit Hour, depending on the candidate’s education and experience.
