Cardiac Catheterization & Interventional ProceduresPerform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and other advanced coronary and structural interventions as credentialed.2. Inpatient CareProvide consultative services for hospitalized patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular diseases, including pre- and post-procedural management.Collaborate with the inpatient cardiology, hospitalist, and intensive care teams to ensure coordinated, evidence-based patient care.3. Outpatient Clinic ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive outpatient consultations and follow-up visits for patients with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and structural heart conditions.Evaluate and optimize medical therapy for patients with complex coronary syndromes, angina, or prior revascularization procedures.Perform pre-procedural assessments and post-procedural follow-up, ensuring continuity of care and appropriate secondary prevention strategies.Manage referrals from community cardiologists, primary care physicians, and other specialists, providing expert interventional and diagnostic guidance.Interpret non-invasive testing results (e.g., stress testing, echocardiography, CT angiography) and integrate findings into individualized care plans.Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other allied health professionals to maintain high clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction.Participate in multidisciplinary outpatient conferences such as heart team discussions for complex coronary and structural cases.Ensure accurate and timely documentation, coding, and communication within the electronic health record (EHR).4. Multidisciplinary CollaborationWork closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, electrophysiologists, imaging specialists, and heart failure/transplant teams to deliver coordinated cardiovascular care.Contribute to case conferences, quality improvement meetings, and collaborative research initiatives.5. Teaching & MentorshipProvide clinical instruction and supervision for cardiology fellows, residents, and medical students in both procedural and outpatient settings.Participate in educational activities and continuing medical education (CME) programs within the Division of Cardiology.6.
