About the role:
JOB SUMMARY:
CECOS College London is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Associate Dean. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Dean/Head of Higher Education in the leadership and management of the North location UK, enhancing the student experience, and driving academic excellence. The individual must be willing to travel to North campus colleges frequently lie London and Birmingham.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
Significant experience in academic leadership and management within higher education.
A proven track record of excellence in teaching, research, and administration.
In-depth knowledge of higher education policies, accreditation, and quality assurance
processes (QAA, OfS, etc.).
Experience in curriculum design, development, and approval processes.
Strong leadership experience, particularly in managing change and institutional growth.
External examining experience at UK universities or higher education providers is desirable.
A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., Fellowship of Advance HE – FHEA) is desirable.
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and external
