COMPANY OVERVIEW

Busy local ice cream shop is looking for a positive, reliable, professional team member to work as a delivery driver with a vehicle and tasker at all our Bridge St location (with deliveries to Oak Bay, and Langford, and other grocery retailers). Pay starts at $17.85/hour and includes approximately $4-6+/hour in Tip as well as vacation pay and potential health benefits (full time, permanent staff).

SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver and Tasker to join our team at Parachute Ice Cream in Victoria, BC. This role is crucial in ensuring our delicious ice cream reaches our customers while embodying our commitment to quality and community. As a Delivery Driver and Tasker, you will play a key role in supporting our mission of providing exceptional products and service. Deliveries are made on a set schedule - every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday during the morning before our scoop shops open. Additional deliveries may be required, depending on our store’s needs. Once deliveries are completed, your role would be to assist our front of house and production teams with basic tasking like labeling, receiving and stocking shipments, storage organization, and other tasks that may come up. This position includes some customer service, but is focused on deliveries and tasking.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Experience with heavy lifting and moving products
• Reliable and punctual with a strong, self-directed work ethic
