The Supervisor is responsible for planning, organizing, and developing of the overall operation of the janitorial department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and guidelines along with assuring the highest degree of quality is maintained at all times. Job tasks include, but are not limited to: Work directly with Operations Manager to oversee a team of cleaners at client location. Engage onsite clients and help ensure there is a high level of satisfaction across all tasks. Evaluate, coordinate, and assign daily tasks to team members based on need and skill level. Inspect all work performed to ensure it meets company standards and client expectations. Act as primary onsite point-of-contact for cleaning team for any questions, concerns, or disputes they may have. Promptly respond to any client’s inquiries and help ensure client is satisfied on a daily basis. Ensure proper inventory of supplies and equipment. Participate in recruitment, hiring, on-boarding, and training of new associates. Ensure efficiency of work and make adjustments as necessary. Lead the team – help them grow in their role. Support their development. Helping to motivate our existing team across shifts and keep associates focused on their daily duties. Coordinate cleaning for call outs. Other duties as assigned. Capable of using independent judgment/solid decision-making skills. Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail. Must be flexible with working nights, weekends, and holidays. A minimum of 4 years of experience in all aspects of janitorial services at large. At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
