Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial reporting, VAT compliance, and bank reconciliations. You will be responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and supporting business decisions with accurate financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports.
Manage VAT calculations, filings, and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations.
Support senior management with financial insights and reports.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a senior accounting role.
Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and financial reporting.
Proficiency in bank reconciliations and accounting software.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting tools (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
CPA, ACCA, or relevant certification is a plus.
