Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and hands-on Finance Manager to oversee the accounting and financial operations of our Travel & Tourism and Real Estate companies.

The ideal candidate must have strong technical accounting knowledge, practical experience in UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, IFRS compliance, financial reporting, and the ability to independently manage the finances of multiple business entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting and financial operations for both Travel & Tourism and Real Estate companies.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
• Handle UAE VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, including tax calculations, adjustments, return preparation, and filing.
• Manage BSP reconciliation, including airline billing, ADMs, ACMs, and disputed transactions.
• Monitor travel bookings, supplier payments, customer collections, and commission revenue.
• Handle real estate sales and leasing transactions, commission calculations, agent payouts, and developer commission reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and expense allocation for both business activities.
• Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and consolidated financial reporting where applicable.
• Prepare cash flow statements, cash flow forecasts, budgets, and management reports.
• Handle foreign currency transactions and exchange differences.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor financial controls, identify discrepancies, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure timely financial reporting and compliance with statutory deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ACCA, CPA, CA, CMA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS.
• Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
• Experience managing accounting operations for multiple companies or business entities.
• Experience in the Travel & Tourism and/or Real Estate industry is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with BSP reconciliation, ADMs, and ACMs is an advantage.
• Knowledge of real estate brokerage commissions, developer payments, and property-related transactions.
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation, cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Strong communication skills and professional integrity.
