A Day in the Life · Prescription processing - perform technical duties of data entry, counting medication, and selling prescriptions to patients in accordance under the supervision of the pharmacist on duty · Customer service - give our patients excellent customer service on the phone and at the counter. Assist the pharmacy manager as needed to handle any customer complaints in a timely manner. · Lead by example - be an excellent example of what great looks like in all aspects of how a pharmacy technician should work including, attendance, dress code, customer service, work ethic, work relationships and by following all policies and procedures · Training - Partner with the pharmacy manager to train all new pharmacy technicians in all job functions and retrain current pharmacy technicians as needed · Immunizations - give immunizations under the supervision of the pharmacist on duty · Administrative tasks - under the direction and supervision of the pharmacy manager, perform administrative tasks within the scope of the applicable rules and laws, to assist the pharmacy manager · Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned.
