Job Details Job Location: JACKSONVILLE, FL Salary Range: $75000.00 - $100000.00 Salary/year Description Summary We’re not your typical mechanical contractor. Our Building Services Division focuses exclusively on owner-negotiated retrofit projects, helping clients modernize and upgrade their facilities without the complexities of new construction. The HVAC Project Manager will oversee all aspects of retrofit projects from concept through closeout. This role is highly collaborative, working directly with building owners and the sales team to ensure deliverables align with negotiated expectations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and experienced in managing commercial HVAC retrofit projects in occupied facilities. Compensation: $75-$100,000 + $700/Month Vehicle Allowance and gas card for business purposes. Key Responsibilities Manage owner-negotiated HVAC retrofit projects from planning through closeout. Partner with sales teams and building owners to ensure project goals align with client expectations. Review and approve HVAC equipment submittals for accuracy and compliance. Coordinate equipment ordering, delivery, and installation logistics. Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources. Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure quality and safety. Provide technical guidance on HVAC system upgrades, replacements, and energy-efficient improvements. Conduct site assessments and evaluate existing systems to support project design and execution. Maintain proactive communication and reporting with owners, stakeholders, and internal teams. Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and company policies. Qualifications Qualifications Proven experience managing commercial HVAC or mechanical retrofit projects (not new construction). Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, controls, and retrofit best practices. Proficiency in reviewing and interpreting HVAC equipment submittals. Experience coordinating with vendors and managing equipment procurement. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules simultaneously. Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainable retrofit technologies preferred.
