Job Description Visa Protect Sales Specialist – Issuer Risk Solutions At Visa, we are passionate about making a difference. The specialist will be responsible for communicating its value to clients, demonstrating how Featurespace’s adaptive behavioural analytics, real-time transaction scoring, and advanced machine learning models help financial institutions detect and prevent fraud with greater precision and fewer false positives. The Visa Protect Sales Specialist holds primary ownership and accountability for bringing Visa products and solutions to market, ensuring Visa maintains its leadership in driving the growth of core products and digital payments by providing maximum security combined with best-in-class user experience. This role also supports account executives in winning new business through subject matter expertise and thought leadership. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical and functional understanding of payment systems, core products, protocols, and frameworks, balanced with business acumen and commercial instincts. Familiarity with technologies and systems used in payments, mobile, and e-commerce—particularly in fraud and risk management, 3-D Secure, authentication, NFC, tokenization, and remote payments—is expected. A working knowledge of system interconnection methods (APIs, SDKs, ISO messages, etc.) is also required. Experience in risk and fraud management is advantageous. This role demands a proactive approach, robust sales skills, and the ability to engage consultatively with clients to understand their strategies and priorities. Strong coordination and project management skills are essential to deliver large cross-functional projects in collaboration with colleagues and partners across multiple geographies and time zones. The position is based in Paris and will require occasional travel to the French, Belgian, and Luxembourger markets, as well as Visa’s Europe headquarters in London.
