We're looking for a Senior Data Manager to lead how data is managed across our clinical and research landscape. You'll work across Technology, Science and Research, helping teams solve complex data challenges while improving the quality, consistency and reliability of our data. This is a senior role that combines strategic leadership with hands on delivery. You'll influence how Data Management is approached across the organisation, establishing standards, strengthening governance and embedding consistent Data Management practices that make a real difference to the people using our data every day. A key part of the role will be helping shape our Genomic Research Dataset (GRD) capability. You'll work with colleagues to design the processes, tooling and ways of working needed to curate and manage complex datasets received from research partners, creating an approach that will scale as the organisation continues to grow. About the role As a Senior Data Manager, you'll use your experience and expertise to confidently lead Data Management across our clinical and research domains, working closely with engineers, analysts, researchers and stakeholders from across the organisation. You'll bring consistency to the way data is managed, improve the quality of our data assets and help solve the challenges that come with managing complex clinical and research datasets at scale. Alongside this, you'll influence organisational strategy while remaining actively involved in delivery, helping teams make better use of data with confidence. What you'll be doing Lead Data Management across clinical and research domains, ensuring data is accurate, trusted and fit for purpose. Develop and embed Data Management standards, governance and best practices across the organisation. Lead data quality initiatives that deliver measurable improvements for the teams using our data. Work alongside engineering, product and research teams to solve complex data challenges and improve the way data is managed. Help shape our Genomic Research Dataset capability, including the processes, tooling and governance needed to curate complex research datasets at scale. Work with research partners and internal teams to improve the quality, consistency and usability of incoming datasets. Support the development of metadata, reference data and data catalogues that improve discoverability and consistency. Shape our Data Management strategy while remaining actively involved in delivery. Ensure Data Management activities align with governance, regulatory and ethical requirements. Drive continuous improvement in Data Management practices across the organisation. Strong understanding of Data Management principles and frameworks such as DAMA DMBOK. Experience establishing or improving Data Governance and Data Quality practices.
